The AFGC opens the second weekend in May, the 8th to be exact. All four camps are ready for you, so get the reservations in soon. You must pay your dues prior to a reservation. Reservation forms have been e-mailed to all. If you do not have one, please e-mail the author(me). If you are a new member, or wish to become one, you must fill in the short application form to be covered by camp insurance. Simply sending a cheque is not sufficient. If you are uncertain if you ever filled in a an application form, please let me know ASAP prior to your visit.
Remember, the limit is 7 trout, any size. Ice will probably be out early, so be prepared for some risers if the temperature goes above 15c and an early hatch comes out. It is recommended that first timers, come prepared for all kinds of weather, including winter!!! Warm rubber boots with liners are a must, as no matter what the weather, warm feet make a happy fisherman. Also good wind gear, as that northern has seven miles of lake to pick up speed. So until you arrive, keep dreaming.
