Autumn dock work - Camp 2

With such accomodating weather this week I played a little hooky from work, and drove in to camp to assemble several of  the remaining docks at camp 2. Hopefully by the time members and guests arrive in spring 2014, they will be presented with something resembling a 48 foot 'T' section dock at camp 2. The only two work items remaining will be the anchoring of same, and the removal in part or whole of the old log cribs and lowering of the rocks that were piled inside of them.

Wood shed (Stove wood only)

We have taken delivery of six cords ($100 a cord) of maple hardwood to be used in the stoves. Please do not use same for beach fires or BBQ's. There is plenty of fallen wood and/or driftwood in the area. Dry wood, split in previous years has been piled on the left and should be taken first, or at the least mixed 50/50 with the new wood next spring.

All in all it was a plesant few days. Stan Roy and Rod Armstrong along with their wives arrived on my departure for a few days of enjoyment as well.  Come on up for a little R & R. There's always a few projects to keep you occupied.
