Just back from the lake. According to the attendant at the ZEC, they may be closing the lake to fishing earlier this year. The reason given was not that the quota’s of some 3600 fish has been taken, but that they have NOT been taken the last few years. Perhaps the lake and trout need a rest was the comment. Will keep you updated, but call the ZEC before planning a fishing trip to Lac Curriere from here on in.
As there is only one party going in at the end of June, one boat has been left out for immediate access. It is sitting on the dock at camp 2. The ‘plug’ is hanging on the wall a camp 2.
We have left the others on the beach and in such a manner so it is not necessary to have them bailed.
Other than at camp 2, no boats should be left in the water or sitting on the docks.
