Ascension Fish and Game Club-(since 1905)

The AFGC was established long before any of the current members were alive (1905) and exists pretty much under the same model as it did at that time. We have survived by the love of our members for the outdoors and the preservation of an age-old desire to experience the wilds. We invite you to come along with us. There is only one rule. 2014 - AFGC turns 109 this year.

Our club turns 109 years old this year. Incorporated in 1905, there has not been much change to the geography or the landscape.

Seeing these winter pictures donated to us by Sonia Berg, (below) a member back a few years, always makes me want to get in and see the lake in the winter. But sitting here by my fireplace as the temperature drops to -20c, I feel I can wait until the end of April again.
